RESUMO

The purpose of this dissertation is to identify and analyze what undergraduate students of Administration learn, and how they learn, while working as consultants in Junior Consultant firms. To attain that objective, a study was realized with thirteen junior consultants, all of them students of Administration, taken from seven Junior Consultant firms associated with their own colleges in the Metropolitan region of Recife. The task was achieved based on the description, analyze, interpretation and understanding of what they learn and how they learn while working as junior consultants, from their own perspective. The research was of a qualitative nature and exploratory. In the collection of data was used nonstructured interviews and the data collected was analyzed using a pragmatic analysis of language. Several conclusions were reached. And some of them were that the junior consultants learned to acquire a professional posture in the process, a personal sense of commitment and responsibility with the tasks they had to face. It was also perceived that the learning obtained by the students comes from the entire process of consulting (first contacts, diagnosis phase, dealing with conflicts and difficulties both I the relationship with the clients as well with among themselves as junior consultants
