RESUMO

This dissertation deals with the logistics customer service atributes provided by the packing suppliers to the small, median and large beverage industries in Brazil. The main aim was to mesure the importance and the performance of nine service atributes, according to the beverage industries opinion.The methodology was based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, with enphasis to a posted survey. The main results indicated that there are differences between the performance of the nine atributes, depending on the type of supplied packaging. Some packaging industries provide better services than others. It was also verified that there are not significant differences between the relative importance of the atributes, independent of the type of packaging. Also, it was observed a strong correlation between all the nive atributes
