RESUMO

The aim of work is the study of the interpretative tracks as instruments for enviromental protection, emphasizing its educative, cultural and disciplinative potencial of visitation of enviromental Prtection Ãreas (APA â Ãreas de ProteÃÃo Ambiental). The object of study is the APA-Guadalupe Litoral Sul de Pernambuco (which inserts part of SirinhaÃm, Rio Formoso, Tamandaà e Barreiros municipal districts). It takes for granted the necessity of to respect the natural and cultural attractives, support, citizenship, to carry out the social function of ectourrism, democratization of knowledge, integrate planning and the interpretative analysis of the environment. The research involved the participation of the community in the diagnosis of the touristic potential of the area. It makes available the survey of the tracks and nautical routes tradionallt used by the local population and the interpretative potentiality of it, aiming the development of the selfsupport tourism, showing possibilities of generation of rent, from the structure, variation of attractives and touristic services of the region. In the end, shows an Enviromental Interpretation Program which aims to develop actions among the various organisms and sectors of the society, by the set of integrated projects of socioenviromental interventions
