RESUMO

The Secretary of Education and Sports of municipal town hall of Juazeiro â BA, has implemented a teaching proposition for all municipal school network, called Teaching on Projects. This study has the objective to investigate the implementation of this proposition at model school âColÃgio Municipal Paulo VIâ, which is the biggest institution of the town. Besides, the teachers from this school have the better qualification. In this work, we present the implementation of Teaching on projects, the proposition of Secretary of Education and Sports, the theoretical basis, in which the proposition was inspired, the characterization of the theoretical conceptions of the teachers and the impact of these ones in their teaching practice. The analysis was done taking as a basis the data collected through semi-structured interviews with the technical team of Secretary of Education and Sports and the teachers. We also observed the work of the teachers in their classrooms. The results point out that the practice of Teaching on Projects still wasnât realized, mainly because the teachers didnât get assimilate and understand the concept of globalization, key issue for an experience of teaching based on projects, especially when it is inspired in HernÃndez and Ventura
