RESUMO
Higher Education Institutions (HEI) are entities that disseminate and eventually generate knowledge by their own way of acting. Thus, teaching approaches able to motivate new and/or practical knowledge production have always been applied regarding the institutional activities. This work starts from the assumption that the undergraduate final project (UFP) is a methodological activity that instigates knowledge self-discovery and/or how to use the ac-quired knowledge in praxis. Computing systems studies providing support to elaboration and orienting of such end-of-term papers concerning graduation courses are still little known. Various studies have shown significant outcomes in relation to Computer-Supported Collabo-rative Learning and the design of projects as learning methodologies. However, such studies have underemphasized the elaboration of project proposals phase. This study is particularly concerned about the UFP elaboration of proposals. From this point of view, this study is justi-fiable as well as the creation of a computing setting able to provide support to the under-graduating student in this phase. Moreover, such model would be favorable to the tutor during follow-up service. This model comprises personal characteristics as well as the educational background of the undergraduating so that it can be made possible the necessary support to be provided. Thus, this study aims at supporting both students and professors, actors involved in the process of elaboration of the end-of-term project proposal.
