RESUMO
This study aimed to present the Experiential Education as a pedagogic action of Environmental Education at the course of Tourism and Hospitality at UNIVALI. As a methodology it followed the qualitative and quantitative researcher. At the Experiential Education study, the historical roots and its relations to the Environmental Education were presented to describe the practices from the Field Study adopted at the Course of Tourism at its laboratory CAEX- Experimental Field of Ecotourism and Adventure tourism. It means that the students should practice the Experiencial Education to value the relation between Environment and tourism. This educative process is based on the EA principles, where the individual interaction with his self, with the group and the field, are premises for the reflex ion process begun. The investigation process started with the study of the environmental questions adopted on that curriculum through questionnaire to the students of that course and posterior reading the disciplines teach plans from the curriculum shade. The academic perceptions and values were also evaluated between the years 2002 to 2005, and from these study, we talked over the approaches comparing with the objectives and principles of the universal Experiential Education. Finally, this research pointed principal elements for a Experiential Education programs for Tourism graduation courses.
