REFLEXÃO E AÇÃO PEDAGÓGICA DO TUTOR NO PROJETO VEREDAS: um estudo à luz das idéias de Dewey

RESUMO
This work was aimed at investigating the tutor s process of reflection within the Veredas Project (Projeto Veredas), an Advanced Teachers Formation Course promoted by the Secretariat of Education of Minas Gerais and geared at teachers working in the early years of Primary School at the municipal and state school networks. It addressed the reflection within the context of supervising and evaluating the teachers engaged in the project, which were part of the tutors attributions. In order to carry out the study, a review of John Dewey s How We Think (1979) was done, a work on the reflection upon the educational process. The subjects were eight tutors from the National Teachers Formation Agency of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora who took part in the project from 2002 to 2005. Semi-structured interviews were used for data collecting. The analysis was carried out under topic categories. The results have shown that the tutors made reflections on the supervision and evaluation of the teachers pedagogical praxis, apart from reflecting on their own praxis
