Twenty-four students took part of study. Group I (GI) was divided in two other groups: GIe composed of 6 students with dyslexia of development submitted to the program, and GIc composed of 6 students with dyslexia of development not submitted to the program. Group II (GII), divided in GIIe, composed of 6 students without dificultties in learning submitted to remediation, and GIIc composed of 6 students without dificultties in learning not submitted to remediation. The remediation was accomplished in 20 sessions. The program (GONZALEZ &ROSQUETE, 2002) was used on three parts: pre, training and pos-test. The results of this study revealed that GI showed a lower performance in phonological ability in reading and writing than GII in pre-test situation. However, GIe showed the same performance as GII in pos-test situation, proving efficiency of the program in remediation with phonological abilities in students with dyslexia of development
