RESUMO

This work had the purpose to follow up the synthesis of collagen and glicosaminoglycanas artificially-induced granulation tis sue in rats, since an early phase till the maturation of this tissue. It were also studied the effects of anti inflammatory drugs with different active principIes upon the evolution of granulation tissue, and a comparison wasmadewith .the dynamics of normal granulation tissue. The results have showed that dexamethasone-2l-phosphate, in doses of 0,1 mg/kg/day is a powerfull inhibitory action upon the glycosaminoglycans (acid mucopolysacharides) and collagen synthesis, the same happening in relation to phenylbuta zone (20 mg/kg/day), with the difference thatphenylbutazoneas a smaller inhibitory effect. Trypsin (0,1 mg/kg/day)has showed an action of accelaration of the maturation of granulation tisue. From these results, it was concluded that the steroid, antiinflammatory(dexamethasone:2l-phosphate), as well as non¬steroid and non-enzimatic agent (phenylbutazone) in the used doses are of great therapeutic valuewhen the inhibition, of granulation process is needed. Contrarily, the enzimatic antiinflamatory drug (trypsin) could be indicated in situations when a faster synthesis of granulation tis sue was recomended.
