RESUMO

Descriptive and exploratory research in order to identify the information needs of producers of non-certified organic vegetables in the Federal District in aspects of information to the producer, about customer, and to technology enhanced production and its commercialization. The systemic approach, which studies the phenomena as a whole, where a set of elements is interdependent and interrelated with each other, was the methodological basis of this study. To developing this study, it was necessary to identify the no certificates producers, the relevant information types for these producers and how this information is used. For the identification of organic vegetables no certificates producers of Federal District, and his localization and contacts, it was used data, information and documents assigned by EMATER/DF (Empresa de Assistência Técnica e Extensão Rural / Distrito Federal), by EMBRAPA (Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária), by MAPA (Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento) and other institutions related with organic agricultural in the Federal District. The data collection with the producers was done by semistructured interview technical.
