RESUMO

This dissertation presents the development of a Passive Telemetry system for ECG measurement inside of a hyperbaric chamber. Hyperbaric Chambers are used to oxygenotherapy treatments, where an enviroment with 100% of O2 is applied at 3 atm. To avoid risk of ignition and fire, the internal circuitry must be low voltage and very low power, so a passive telemetry is desired. Also, to avoid internal batteries two photovoltaic cell lightened by 20 external blue LEDs are used to power the circuit. The optical powering and the signal transmission through the acrylic wall of the chamber reached distances of 10 cm and 7 cm, respectively. Other results are presented and discussed.
