RESUMO
The Nursing Courses, in the medium and superior level where reformulated according to the orientation of the National Curriculum Directive of 2001. This new model breaks away from the hospital conception of nursing formation, to a more generalist form for the graduate nurse to face the quick changes in our society in order for them to do their professional work accordingly. This investigation is linked to the Pedagogy and Practices for Graduate Instructors, that focus on the process and implementation in nursing studies at the Mato Grosso do Sul State University in the form of an integrated curriculum, to find out the causes of the good sides and the difficulties in the process. Furthermore, this investigation is based in the evolution of the curriculum social-economic and contributes to the knowledge and understanding of the graduates. The new curriculum investigated was implemented in the year of 2004, causing drastic changes in the way the practice of learning and in evaluation of the graduates. The collection of data were done throughout the year of 2006, with participation of the course researcher in times and in diversified situations as: (a) follow up and registration with Pedagogy Meetings, space and reflection with decision by the course administrator, (c) analysis and registration by the 3rd year students with their experiences on the course, (d) follow up by the group of students in practice and theory. Therefore the present research with the analysis and the results were a collection and participation of the teaching staff and students, with the final results showing a significant improvement in the effectiveness and graduation of the students.
