AS INTERFERÊNCIAS DOS DISTÚRBIOS VOCAIS NO TRABALHO DOCENTE NO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL

RESUMO

The voice is result of the balance between two forces, the aerodynamic air that leaves from the lungs and the mioelastic of the extrinsic and intrinsic muscles of the larynx. If it has disequilibrium between these forces, there will be a voice problem. The voice alterations harm the teaching occupational performance and determine a low quality of life. In this study the results of the research with teachers in Basic Education are presented in the school place. The objectives of the research were: to verify the interferences that the voice riots cause in the teaching performance, to characterize the conditions of work of these teachers and to evidence the main voice alterations presented by them. Also is part of the objectives the inquiry of the didactic procedures more used by the teachers in classroom and which are most harmful to the voice production during the activity. By interviews and observations in class were structured seven thematic axles and analyzed throughout the research in each school and classroom. The main voice riots found were the voice alterations as the hoarseness, the harshness and ardency in the throat. It was clearly, under our point of view, that the problem can be generated in the teaching work from some attitudes and habits during the use of speaking. Another question of the research says about the didactic procedures used by the teachers and how they can contribute for the aggravation of the voice riot. We verify that in Basic Education predominates the exposition lesson, the verbalization is constant and is used the book-text for all disciplines. When we characterize the conditions of the teaching work we see that there are other intrinsic factors in the daily routine of the school that also intervene with the teaching work. It was possible to evidence that the voice riots generate interferences in the exercise of teaching that summarize in alteration of education methodology and relationship with the students, emotional instability and fragility in the treatment of the content. At the end of the research we had indications that it is not the voice riot that intervene with the teaching work. The lesson and the pertaining to school context also generate riots and interferences, causing a dynamic between the two moments.
