RESUMO

The crescent increase of the competitiviness and of the complexity of the businesses, mainly due to the globalization process and of the speed of the technological innovations and of the information it is imposing to the national companies a new way to accomplish the businesses. On the other hand, the growing disparities and social inequalities comes why passing our society in elapsing of the last decades it also places the need to rethink the development economical, social and environmental. To answer to this crescent challenge, governments, companies and society are organized in the attempt of bringing new answers seeking a maintainable development that includes as much the economical aspects as social and you adapt. In this work, it is looked for to place the principal related aspects the social responsibility, move that is winning force in Brazil, mainly starting from the mineties, with the opening of the Brazilian market to the international capital and as bank segment he has been noticing this movement and which your possible benefits to the employees and the community. The theme was developed with the intention of demonstrating that the companies of the bank segment adopt a logic different to the speech of the social responsibility, they absorv several benefits for your companies, that are contradicted with postures adopted in relation to your employees and the own community, attitudes not always transparent, but that on the other hand, they can also revert her in benefit of these
