RESUMO

The present research aims to investigate how the school can collaborate for a critical reader s formation, even if this reader is still so young as the students of the 6th Grade. Indeed, this research is not a manual or an inquiry without ground. But it is a thought for a changing of behavior before the teaching of reading for students of this grade, respecting their limitations and, mainly, understanding that it is necessary to teach them how to read. A critical reader can only emerge when he/she reads and understands what he/she has read, and more than that, when he/she uses the reading in his/her favor.
