A feira livre em Igarassu: uma anÃlise a partir os dois circuitos da economia; a convivÃncia do formal e o informal

RESUMO

The present work has the general objective to understand the dynamic, in the space of the Free Fair of Igarassu, PE, distant 27 km of the capital of the state of Pernambuco: Recife. Between the specific objectives they are: to understand the historical process of the free fair of Igarassu; to understand the formatting of the space of the free fair by means of its materiality and of the actions that guaranty the commercial movement; to verify the geographic position of Igarassu and the free fair, by means of ortofotocartas, aerial photos and of satellites to understand its relation with its surrounding areas; to investigate the importance of the fair for its users and workers, not only in the economic scope, but also in the social one. It is formulated hypothesis that the space dynamic of the Free Fair occur, to a large extent, due its urban localization between the agricultural one. To reach the considered objectives, the following methodological procedures had been carried through: cartographic survey of the City of Igarassu and its surrounding areas, for the localization of the Free Fair of Igarassu and its area of influence; interviews with worker fair, by means of histories of life, and with the consumers by means of quantitative questionnaires; quantitative survey of the objects that compose the structure of the fair, of the amount of worker fair, the amount of establishments commercial employees of services in surrounding areas of the study object, of the estimate of consumers of the city and the region; bibliographical survey; treatment and interpretation of the data. We inquire that the geographic position of the Free Fair collaborates for diversity of occurred economic and social activities in its space. We stand out the importance of this space for the economic life of social of the city. We find, in the relation between formal and informal activities, one of the conditions that guaranty to the space of the fair a center in relation its region
