RESUMO

The rural area of Santa Catarina has undergone transformations throughout the history of its occupation. This study aims to investigate and analyze the dynamics of the communication process in an agrotourism network in the municipal district of Santa Rosa de Lima. The methodological procedures developed in this study include bibliographical and documentary research, as well as interviews with members of the local organization Associação de Agroturismo Acolhida na Colônia who carry out agrotourism activities in their properties. Unsystematic observation was also carried out in local meetings, to identify the means of communication available and those used by the local community. The results of this research revealed the strategies created and used by the members of this network, in the communication process on agrotourism in Santa Rosa de Lima, Santa Catarina
