O agroturismo em Santa Rosa de Lima: transformações sócioculturais na dinâmica de organização do trabalho nas famílias agricultoras

RESUMO

This dissertation addresses issues related to Agritourism and the farming families belonging to the Associação dos Agricultores Ecológicos da Encosta da Serra Geral (AGRECO) the Association of Ecological Farmers of the Serra Geral Mountains, and the Associação de Agroturismo Acolhida na Colônia (AAAC) an association which promotes Agritourism on farms, in Santa Rosa de Lima (SRL) in the State of Santa Catarina (SC). The Overall Objective was to characterize the process of sociocultural transformation in the dynamics of the organization of labor in family farmers. The methodological procedures adopted, with a qualitative approach, were: collection of bibliographic data, field work (observation and interviews) and photographic records. From the research results, it was possible to characterize the families as being of the nuclear type, with dynamics of mutual assistance, but the division of labor is generally by gender. Thus, the importance of the womens work was observed, while at the same time, we noticed the excessive burden placed on women, who work both in lodging establishments (inns/hostels) and also in agriculture. However, the new beliefs and debates about mutually supportive and ethical work have been changing mens behavior, and they are making an effort to help reduce the burden of responsibility that overwhelms women
