RESUMO

Given that tourism is an activity that affects and is affected by various sectors, an understanding of cultural issues is a sine qua non condition for its sustainable development. This work therefore seeks to analyze the media discourses propagated by the printed media, television, electronic and radio media, and their influence on agritourism in Santa Rosa de Lima. The methodological procedures adopted are based on qualitative research, taking an exploratory approach, through the collection of bibliographic and documentary data from selected material, including reports and educational/informative programs used as the object of disclosure of the agritourism model in the region over the last five years. To analyze this material, techniques are used to analyze the discourse of Umberto Ecos Model of Textual Cooperation. At the end, existing discourses are presented of the various images of Santa Rosa de Lima, divulged in Santa Catarina and other regions of the country, and their variations
