25. Desenvolvimento e avaliação de filme biodegradável de polietileno incorporado de amido de grão-de-bico (Cicer arietinum L.) / Development and evaluation of biodegradable film of polyethylene incorporated with chickpea starch (Cicer arietinum L.)
The concern with the pollution caused by the great volume of waste plastics in the environment has led to the study of new biodegradable materials. The starch is one of natural polymers with greater potential of application in the development of biodegradable packaging, which is renewable and can be obtained from much variety of crops at low cost. Chickpea i

26. Alterações químicas e nutricionais do grão-de-bico (Cicer arietinum L.) cru irradiado e submetido à cocção

28. Correlation between nutritional value and texts of alimentary fiber and resistant starch of diets I contend supreme of pea (Pisum sativum L.), beans-common (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), garbanzo bean (Cicer arietinum L.) e lentil (Lens culinaris Med.).

A globulina majoritária, ap

31. Estudo do valor nutricional da proteina de feijão-comum (Phaseolus vulgaris, L.), feijão-de-corda (Vigna unguiculata, L.), ervilha (Pisum sativum, L.) e grão-de-bico (Cicer arietinum, L.) utilizando marcação com nitrogenio 15
The aim of this work was to study the value of the protein of the pea (Pisum sativum, L.), the common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris, L.), the cow pea (Vigna unguiculata, L. Walp.) and the chick, pea (Cicer arietinum, L) , by the way of the use of nitrogen 15 (15N) as a tracer. In order to be incorporated to the protein, seeds from pure varieties of grainswere pla

32. Preformed mRNA in Cotyledons of Ungerminated Seeds of Cicer arietinum L. 1
Polyadenylated RNA was isolated from total RNA extracted from cotyledons of ungerminated or 18-hour-germinated chick-pea seeds by affinity chromatography on oligo(dT)-cellulose. Both poly(A)-containing RNA fractions exhibited a template activity when assayed in two cell-free translation systems, wheat germ extracts, and nuclease-treated reticulocyte lysates.

33. Appearance of an Alternate Pathway Cyanide-resistant during Germination of Seeds of Cicer arietinum
The combined action of the inhibitors antimycin A and cyanide with benzohydroxamic acid indicates the presence of a cyanide-resistant pathway of respiration in chick pea (Cicer arietinum L.) seeds. The appearance of this pathway takes place during germination. During the first 12 hours of germination, the respiration is predominantly cyanide-sensitive, showi

34. Long Term Transcript Accumulation during the Development of Dehydration Adaptation in Cicer arietinum1
Cool season crops face intermittent drought. Exposure to drought and other abiotic stresses is known to increase tolerance of the plants against subsequent exposure to such stresses. Storage of environmental signals is also proposed. Preexposure to a dehydration shock improved adaptive response during subsequent dehydration treatment in a cool season crop ch

35. Partial Purification and Characterization of NADP+-Isocitrate Dehydrogenase from Immature Pod Walls of Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) 1
NADP+-isocitrate dehydrogenase (threo-DS-isocitrate: NADP+ oxidoreductase [decarboxylating]; EC 1.1.1.42) (IDH) from pod walls of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) was purified 192-fold using ammonium sulfate fractionation, ion exchange chromatography on DEAE-Sephadex A-50, and gel filtration through Sephadex G-200. The purified enzyme, having a molecular weight

36. Degradation of the Isoflavone Biochanin A and Its Glucoside Conjugates by Ascochyta rabiei
Strains of Ascochyta rabiei which are pathogenic to chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) readily catabolized the main chickpea isoflavone biochanin A (5,7-dihydroxy-4′-methoxyisoflavone). 3′-Hydroxylation and O-demethylation reactions led to the isoflavones pratensein, genistein, and orobol, which were rapidly further degraded. Dihydrogenistein and p-hydroxyphe
