RESUMO

Nowadays, globalization is an irreversible reality and it is romoting significant changes in the worldâs scenario, notoriously in the field of economic relations. Those, by themselves, are getting even more complex and wider, and they cannot be understood in a minimalist way. In this context, it is becoming crucial that the Customs Office of the MERCOSURâs member countries is adaptable, in a continuous process, to this and new insurgent scenarios; if not, they will not be able to accomplish their functions satisfactorily. The worldâs economic tendency is driven to the need of a systematic vision of this universe and a globalizated knowledge of the contributors profiles, which may show themselves having constant âmutationsâ. In this panorama, it will be necessary a systematized integration of the Custom Offices as a pre-condition to achieve acceptable levels of efficacy and efficiency, turning viable the diminution of troubles and irregularities existent in the Custom Area. Additionally, the modern Customs have adopted a partnership with private enterprises sectors related to foreign trade with the establishment of a relationship based on mutual trust and common objectives, aiming to achieve the desired balance point between celerity in dispatching customs â facilitationand the needed control exercised on it â fiscalization â with the means of giving higher levels of competitivity to the country. Considering the exposed, it is notorious at the moment that the nations had tried to establish Agreements aimed at establishing information interchange, something that corroborates the growing need of the Customs on searching means to face efficiently the new scenarios that, unforeseeably, should appear. Then, inserted in this context, the proposition of this study has the main objective of, according to the research and the identification of mutual interest data between the countries member of MERCOSUR, elaborating a XML vocabulary â XFAM - based in standards and established technologies; where is defined, mainly, document-schemas that define the structure of document instances used in information interchange between the MERCOSUR Customs and national companies. In this process the Internet is used as the main way of communication whereas Web Services is the technology that enables the interoperability between systems
