Uma escolha profissional equivocada como geradora de crise no jovem universitário: um estudo fenomenológico

RESUMO

In a world of constant changes in the work market and a great diversity of professions, the youth comes across with the necessity to make its professional choice, what it takes it, sometime, to carry a mistaken choice out and the experience of a crisis. The general objective of this work is made up of analyze the attack lived deeply by young college students in front of a not right professional choice. The specific objectives had been to identify the feelings beared in mind at the moment of the crisis lived deeply for the young college students; to characterize the impasse that establishes at this moment, when it makes necessary a new choice and to offer subsidies for programmes of professional orientation in expansion in the institutions of graduate education. So that such purpose could be reached, firstly, and supporting itself in the broaching of authors o the present time, the subject was presented: the young college student in crisis, approaching the crisis concept; after that, a clipping referring the young college student, its insertion in the current world and the work market; and finishing this part, the question of the process of the professional choice, the process of choice and re-choice. Shortly, by means of a fenomenologic methodology, the information work collected with the accomplishment of three interviews half-structuralized with young college students was become rich. Its contents in four great subjects had been organized - the family; the professional mistaken choice; the academic trajectory and the new professional choice. It is concluded that, at the same time when the experience of a professional mistaken choice means the experience of overwhelming moments, it also it means the chance to rethink that it stimulates for the growth and the matureness of the youth. Still, the search for the youth of a possibility of get out of the crisis with a professional way that provides accomplishment and the understanding of that, when he thinks about effecting a choice, it has to be conscientious, therefore it will define future. The conclusions of the research had instigated the proposal of the new studies and the project of Orientation and Professional Development that will make possible, to the young college student, to work the construction of its career throughout its academic trajectory.
