RESUMO

Nowadays the professional education tries to fit to the demands of a working market and to the technological innovations in order to give the student access to the new technologies and to the adjustment of a determined group of abilities and competencies through the knowledge, scientific and technological apprehension of the know-how, abilities or operational domain and the know-being; indispensable attitudes on the decisions. During the realization of the searches in companies located in the Central and South regions in this State to obtain the Mining Technician with Emphasis in Ornamental Stones professional profile, it was observed the necessity of these companies in the perfectioning of its production processes and management. The people in charge of the production, the ones that make the linking between the production and the company administration in the production process, in its majority, they are people that dont know the management techniques, the interpersonal relationship, the facilitation processes of groups, they are not innovative, due to this fact, they almost always behave as simple supervisors or deliverers of tasks. The Decentralized Unit of Education of the Federal Center of Technological Education of the Espírito Santo (UnED) Cachoeiro de Itapemirim offered from the year of 2005, a course of Mining Technician with Emphasis in Ornamental Stones. One of the subjects that are included into the curricular matrix of this course is the subject of Enterprising Management. It turns to be, therefore, essential that the discipline programmarian contents are carefully planned. Thus, the main objective of this research was to identify the competencies that will have to be taken care of in the elaboration of the Course Plan of the Enterprising Management discipline, which will integrate the curricular matrix of the Mining Technician with Emphasis in Ornamental Stones Course of CEFETES-UnED-Cachoeiro de Itapemirim. The methodology used was a research of descriptive nature; and the analyses quantitative and qualitative were used. 65 questionnaires in 36 companies of many kinds of activity inside of the productive chain had been applied. It was also intended to examine the perception that the proprietors, managers and people in charge of production of these companies have on empreendedorismo and intraempreendedorismo, about the factors that make difficult the administration of the ir companies, about the entrepreneur characteristics that they consider important to solve the problems on administration, so as, about the competencies that will be able to make better results on the companies administration. The study concludes that the competencies related to the attitude values, so as, the competencies of the know-being should be prioritized on the matrix curricular construction on the Enterprising Management discipline.
