RESUMO

The present study has the purpose of analyzing the most relevant aspects of the Safety Suspension, since it was established in 1936; it is linked to the writ of mandamus, and wich went through a legislative evolution that gradually expanded its application to public civil actions, to popular actions, to writ of precautions, to habeas data and generally to actions in which it is granted an early guardianship by the Public Power, or by those who represent it
