RESUMO
The professional education and include responsibility considerations that go beyond simple educational innovation which leads to other recognition are always and relentlessly different, the difference is that there equality is invented and differences appreciation efforts the educational progress. The relevance of this work contributes to current discussion on the Hippotherapy use as a support tool in their performance and clienteles lines. The work is justified by understanding that Hippotherapy is a promising option for technicians trained by IFSUESTEMG whereas adaptations to the therapy requirements, need equine breeding knowledge, therefore, aimed to technical professionals seeking to integrate into multidisciplinary Hippotherapy Center teams, drawing on the experiences and findings resulting from the teaching practices at the Technological Education Federal Institute. This is a descriptive study to identify social representations and research group profile, using data and facts gathered from literature and their own reality. Our sample consisted in 60 students Integrated Agricultural High School, third year, 70 teachers, 100 servers and external community composed by practitioners parents. Therefore, semi-structured questionnaires were applied to students, teachers, servers and community. Since the results, evaluating the possibilities and advantages for the Hippotherapy Center definitive establishment, aimed at the future technicians professional qualification, expanding the universe work. Conclude, after the positive results, that Hippotherapy Center has provided space for research in Health and Education Areas work, there was a gain to universities region, with respect to professional training opportunities, including residencies on Health as Physical Therapy, Phonotherapy, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Education, Nursing, Nutrition, and others. Therefore, the triad Research / Teaching / Extension has been fully met.
