RESUMO

This work presents the study of compounds obtained from interaction of sulfamethoxazole with copper, cadmium, mercury and nickel acetates, gold triphenilphosphine acetate / chloride and with silver chloride. The synthesis and the characterization of the new compounds were accomplished by the analyses of the reactivity, the coordinative behavior and to the comprehension of the interactions between the diferents metallic centers and the ligands. It has been done a structural study in the solid state for the characterization of the interactions occurring in the crystalline structures of the synthetized compounds and the used tool was X-ray diffraction in single crystal. The major goal was understanding of the relationship between the crystalline structures of the compounds and their supramolecular organization. Besides, for all compounds the results of elemental analysis and infrared spectroscopy are included. Antimicrobiological activity experiments were carried out by using the dilution technique in broth for evaluating of the sensibility to antimicrobial agents for aerobic growth of the bacterias. The lower concentration of the drug capable of inhibiting the growth of the microoganisms (MIC) was determined against Gram-positive strains (Staphylococcus aureus) and Gram-negative strains (Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa).
