RESUMO

The purpose of this work is reports a model of efficiency wage in which the effort of the worker depends on the level and on the rate of growth of the relative salary by the alternative salary. Using data of the Brazil transformation industry, the implications in the model has been examined and was in the conform of the criteria of non-stationary of the data. The data will be tested and analyzed for the restriction of cointegration of the dynamic model and the parameters will be by Generalized Method of Moments estimator for a non-linear model. Finally we present that an interesting result is that the workâs effort depends less on the level of the relative wages and more on the relative wage increase.
