RESUMO

Companies see the Integrated Management System ERP, as a fundamental tool for information process rationalization and modernization. It can provide a leverage too for companies, which are able to use it accordingly and in a competitive way in their market. This subject originate several debates, however in focus, the software is still seen by companies as a way to reduce costs; as result, its implementation has been taking very long, generating conflicts along business process. Therefore it can drive the company in a smooth way or it can cause dislikable losses. Therefore this thesis has as goal to present a Proposal of Integrated Management Model ERP for small and medium size companies, with possible implementation and also present the result of a survey done with 5 companies of small and medium size, which belongs to industrial, commercial and service segments that already implemented ERP systems
