PERCEPÇÃO DE MÉDICOS COOPERADOS SOBRE PROCESSOS DE CONTROLE DE CUSTOS EM UMA COOPERATIVA DE TRABALHO MÉDICO ESTUDO DE CASO

RESUMO

This study aims to identify through medical professionals how medical practice can be developed keeping the companys financial health; in particular, it aims to identify the co-operateds doctors perception about the cooperativism and the restraining processes in a medical work cooperative, detecting if the control of costs process interfere in the medical practice and, if so, how that interference occurs. The research was qualitative, with principles of the Holistic-Ecologic Reference; the study type was case study, and the data gathering technique, the semi-structured interview. The studys subjects were eight doctors, of both sex, members of a Medical Work Cooperative, that work in Florianópolis in the general surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, medical and pediatric clinic areas, graduated for more than 10 years and co-operated. The data reveals that this studys subjects expect the cooperative to enable the medical exercise with quality and ethics, at the same time, assuring them work market with fair earnings, category protection by giving the proper value to the Doctor Act, professional accomplishment and personal satisfaction. In their daily routine, they expressed that the Doctor Act, has been diminished by the bad cooperate practice of the co-operated and the cooperative and that the costs restraining established by this organization, although it is identified and understood by some and considered confusing by other, may interfere in the medical practice, or not. It is suggested that medical practice can be developed keeping the cooperatives financial health, through members and users education, making them realize that, so far, the Doctor Act cant be replaced by any technological wonder, existing or to come, the best it may be.
