Oralidade e escrita: um processo de mediação semiótica na apropriação de novos conceitos com alunos do 4 ano do Ensino Fundamental.

RESUMO

This qualitative and scientific work is an ethnografic research which has as its aim to contribute to the teaching-learning process in the concept formation mediated by the oral and written language. The theorical framework is based in the social-historical cultural perspective, chiefly in Lev S. Vygotsky and his followers. The research was developed with twelve pupils from fourth grade elementary school in the city of Várzea Grande, Mato Grosso state. For data collection, the researcher made some activities of interventions such as teaching strategies for teaching and learning lessons such as the use of expository dialogue and work on oral and written productions in groups. The proposed activities aimed at the process of appropriation of scientific concepts on the topic global warming. The production of oral and written initial and final texts of the twelve students served as a comparative analysis with respect to formation of the concept global warming. These results of data analysis points that the pupils developed new higher mental capacities that gave them condition to acquire the level where Vygotsky designed as pseudo-concepts, that is the way to arrive in the scientific concepts for him
