RESUMO

The present research, based on the social-intercessionist theory and on applied linguistics, aim at analysing how the mediation of the teacher occurs in the student s text. It studied the messages left by the teachers of the third and fourth grades of Elementary and Junior High Schools in the texts produced by their students and, in addition, it presents reflections about the oral mediation, which was detected among teachers, students and colleagues at the moment of the text production and reorganization. By analysing the different forms teachers influence their students text production and reorganization, this study enhances the importance of the oral mediation on the writing and rewriting of a text and points out the collective resuming of the text as the moment of the students highest reflection and participation as far as their own production is concerned
