RESUMO

Given the concept of education as a construction process, this present paper has as its main objective to investigate if the contents of the designated materials for the introduction on the pianistic polyphony teaching at the Curso de Formação Musical I (FM I) of the Escola de Música e Belas Artes do Paraná (EMBAP), convert into representative tools to establish concepts, abilities and procedures necessary to the posterior transference and application in the lasts year repertoire of the previously cited course the Two Part Inventions by J. S. Bach. This work is based on a theoretical grounding, emphasizing the organization and sequencing of the curricular purposes and the multiple understanding processes by the students. Nevertheless, the rummage of the constituting elements of the Two Part Inventions from the paradigmatic analytic model was also applied, in order to verify existing elementary units in this work and its relations. As a methodological delimitation, a small sized survey has been conducted on the teaching and learning processes of the pianistic polyphony with the individuals involved in its practice within EMBAP, as a mean to assist the investigation and interpretation of the studied issue. The reflections on the utilized approaches for the pianistic polyphony study initiation in the FM I course of EMBAP were conducted by crossing the data obtained through the finding and the theoretical groundings that supported this research.
