Natureza e valores: a construção social da natureza e a educação ambiental na Bacia hidrográfica do Itajaí

RESUMO

Environmental education has surged in a historical moment in that was revealed a world socioenvironmental crisis. This crisis, however, wasnt an isolated fact, but current from the worlds predominant development model context, since the first modernity centuries. However, environmental education expression came to be used as a generic word for good environmental practices, refusing, in a specifically sense, to front the social fights complexity that are constituted around the different ways of access to environmental possessions and the use of it. Through the historical contexture from the visions of nature and main values in AE in regional or world level, this research aims to discuss that the educative process isnt impartial or deposed from values and interests, on the contrary, education is a social construction full of subjectivity, with valuing choosing and political wishes, endowed of reproductive capacity in the society. On this way, we will search to discuss the paper of environmental education, which could assume a social order conservation paper, reproducing the values, ideologies and interests socially dominant, as a libertary paper, under obligation with the cultural, political and ethical renovation from the society and with the full development from the potentiality from the individuals who compose it, may promote changing turned to the community and life quality in a long time. This research have as empirical basis the Piava project, having as studys object the educators involved in this project. The general objective of this dissertation was to analyze the context in that the visions and values of nature and environmental education that permeate the speech and the practices in environmental education at hidrografic basin from Itajaí were constructed. The empirical anlyses about the views of nature and values in environmental aducation, from the Itajaí basin educators, search to elucidate the diverse factors that interfere in main views and values in the speech and practices in the regional environmental education. To theoretically found what has been developed at Itajaí basin, the bibliographical research presents how was the floods problem treatment at Vale do Itajaí , in whose context has surged environmental education, as its development until the implementation of Piava project. In a second moment, will be realized an empirical analyzes about the views of nature and the values that have the educators involved in this project. The empirical analyzes from the results founded in field, were based in qualitative approach, fronting the reality founded with theoretical constructions presented. Through a brief reflection search to analyze the contradictions existent between the speech about AE, and the main practices in AE field at Itajaí basin
