RESUMO

The modelling of a high-purity distillation column utilized in the semiconductor industry is realized giving an adequate enviromment for adaptive control algorithms analysis. The model contains all the complexities of the real process (gain, time constants and dead time that change nonlinearly) but is simple, robust and computacionally efficient. For solving the stiff difererential equations ot the process the Diagonally Implicit Runge-Kutta Formulae with A and S stability has been utilized ...
