Matrimônio protestante: uma reflexão a partir da antropologia filosófica

RESUMO

The main objective of this thesis is to study the marriage relationships of Historical Protestantism observing how men and women relationships take place. The second objective is to understand how men and women build their own identities through marriage; then this study proposes a philosophy of marriage based on a new ethical order an ethics to the other built upon the structures of the philosophical anthropology of the Jewish-Christianity, base on three authors that transited between. Theology and Existentialism: Martin Buber, Paul Tillich e Karol Wojtyla; From this point, it is possible to recognize that there are subsidies to study the family among the social and religious context of the Protestantism. Based on these ideas, this work intent to contribute to the elaboration of a Theology of the Protestant Marriage, understood by a Latin American perspective. This text also used as part of its methodology an empirical study of the motivational factors on the protestant marriages; an anthropological study on what does it means to be woman and man from a social and religious point of view; and how those understandings affects marriages relationships. It also has been analyzed how the woman is understood on anthropological, theological and social perspectives; and how these concepts are related with the matrimony; A comparison of the marriages roles of man and women were made based on the elements of the philological anthropology. The research was made in a lower class community from the city of Salvador, where there is a group of couples study since last ten years. Allied with the empirical work and with the bibliography review this thesis intent to show some ways to understand matrimony as a rescue of the individual, where man and woman find themselves as individuals and reach a mutual freedom. The marriage as a space of freedom restoration, since on the other it is possible to find the opportunity of rescuing the identity of the subject. The freedom as result of the relationship between man and woman.
