RESUMO

The sexual violence is a universal phenomenon that reaches women, men and children. It is difficult to measure the real incidence of these crimes since this statistical data are underrated of social, psychological and biological aspect related to this type of violence. In biogenetic examination of biological material link to sexual crimes in Distrito Federal, made by IPDNA/PCDF, it was identified 39 authors of this kind of crime. This present project has as main aim give subsides to the police inquiry to distinguish isolated crimes from crimes in series, to identify rapists and to help the solution of these crimes not solved in Distrito Federal. This project was carried through in two stages. In the first time, 143 swabs with vaginal material of rape victims, since 2004 to 2009, had been genetically analyzed, and the male profile was inserted in a database of sexual crimes, for comparison. In this analysis, it was identified 4 rapists in series, with 10 attacked victims, totalizing for 43 the number of sexual aggressors in series in the DF. In the second time, it was analyzed all the information of 122 police occurrences related to 128 victims of these rapists in series, since 1999 to 2009, to identify a standard performance of this criminal in wrongdoing. During the sex the offender behavior can be analyzed by three aspects: modus operanti, the signature, that is the personal gratification, and the attitude of intimidation. For the analyses of the data of these rapists in series, it was found that 31 of them (72,1%) had presented repetitive standard of performance in all of wrongdoing acts as, for instance, the same kind of weapon, the same form of approaching the victims, the same local of tackling and the same kind of victim. The analysis of the modus operanti, of the signature and of the criminal profile the author is an increasing element to the police inquiry that indicate a type of criminal and not a specific criminal, helping to reduce the number of suspects, diagnose the reasons of the action and link or not the crime with others similar.
