RESUMO

The use of the digital technologies of communication and information for the management of the activity-middle from the higher education institutions are if turned more and more frequent, making possible the accomplishment of countless researches. Among the investigations this theme, are the studies about users of systems of information satisfaction. The present research had as goal, to investigate the satisfaction degree of the users of the system of academic information Collegium from the colleges UNICEN - Campus de Primavera do Leste/MT. For that, a theoretical survey was systematized concerning the technological progresses of the society about the information, particularizing some concepts of systems in information, theoretical reflections on the users satisfaction and the methods of evaluation of the referred systems. This study is framed in a category denominated qualitative research in a descriptive study. In the collection of the data the triangulation of several research techniques was used, including interviews, documental analysis and questionnaire application. The analysis of the empiric evidences revealed a high degree of users satisfaction in relation to the used system. In spite of that, the implantation of the system found some impediments which space from the planning lack, going by the lack of the users training, until the absence of a communication plan that expressed the advantages of the system Collegium. The research presents a group of reflections which will contribute to the improvement of the academic administration of the institution, as well as to the own process of administration the analyzed system.
