SatisfaÃÃo dos usuÃrios assistidos nos centros de especialidades odontolÃgicas do municÃpio do Recife

RESUMO

This research evaluated the satisfaction of the users that were attended in four specialized dental clinics of Recife city, Brazil. The data collection was carried through the standardized personal interview with 272 patients applying itself a questionnaire for Evaluation of User Satisfaction with Public Dental Health Services. The results in the total group had indicated a positive evaluation to the most evaluated quality dimensions but it was negative for the accessibility ones. Significant differences were observed between the services for the dimensions: human relations/dentist (p=0,001); human relations/dentist assistant (p=0,007); effectiveness (p=0,014) accessibility/wait time (p=0,018); physical environment/reception room cleanness (p=0,004); acceptability (p=0,029); and effectiveness/ teeth appearance (p=0,029), effectiveness/chew capacity (p<0,001). It was concluded that the majority of the users is satisfied with the assistance given in the specialized dental clinics and users of each service demonstrated different levels of satisfaction
