The increasingly fierce competition in the markets has shown, in the country and abroad, that if companies are not prepared to act in an environment of continuous change, they will lose competitiveness. Innovation is one of the themes that have mobilized more discussions on the management area in this new century and realizes it is also that there are many requirements that more traditional organizations need to develop to become innovative. One of the most cited condition for an organization to deal with the challenge of innovation is that it can count on people who are prepared and motivated to create and exploit new knowledge (NONAKA, 2000). The corporate entrepreneurship becomes then a matter of growing interest to organizations and for research on the management field. These study main goal was to identify how middle managers, in organizations today, see their role as promoters and entrepreneurs intra-corporate, in terms of conditions, dilemmas and difficulties that are to exercise that role, contributing to the generation of competitive advantages for companies where they act and to the strengthening of their careers. There was a field search, through interviews with middle managers who work in various sectors. The aim was to get a sample of professionals in different stages of their careers and with different views and positions on the dynamism of the context in which they are inserted. The study identified a set of conditions that in the perception of the middle managers, act as facilitators or inhibitors of its performance as entrepreneurs and developers of entrepreneurship in organizations. These factors are related to the role of the middle manager, the people, the company structure and the environment outside the organization. external factors, the existence of a good economic environment is a facilitator and has not been identified any inhibitors in that category.
