RESUMO
The main benefits to the health came because of the practice of physical activity that refers to the anthropometrics, neuromuscular metabolic and psychological aspects. The sedentary lifestyle is an independent risk factor for the cardio vascular accident, the main cause of death worldwide. The risk of heart disease for the sedentary people can be double if compared to the most active people. The numbers regarding to chronic diseases in Brazil are related to deep changes in the way of the people s life. The objective of this work was to verify the impact of the guided physical activities in the improvement of the quality of life and health of the adult subjects through Get Moving Program Unicamp. For the accomplishment of the research, it was chosen the modality of investigation denominated traversal study that according to Pereira (2003) it happens when "causes" and "effect" is detected simultaneously. Only analyzing the data allows the detection of the groups interest in a way to investigate the association between exhibition and disease. This investigation method makes use of representative samples of the population because obviously it is very difficult to accomplish investigations that include the totality of the subjects and in numerous groups as well. A protocol was developed containing closed and mixed questions and collect data through anthropometric evaluation; gauging of the blood pressure and the relation waist-hip, which were accomplished at the Postural Evaluation Laboratory of the Physical Education Faculty after approval of the UNICAMP Ethics Committee. Through the results of the research It was verified that 62,2% of the studied subjects work in a sitting position, developing functions of low calories, involving less muscular effort such as reading and typing, answering phone; 82% of them Make use of medicines with and without medical clinical monitoring; the risk factors and the chronic diseases add 22,0% with heart problems, 32,2% suffer from hypertension, 17,3% are diabetics and 23,0% pointed stress; expressive indexes of smoking habit (52,08%) and ingestion of alcoholic (47,92%). The blood pressure was checked and it was founded considerable values such 26,5% and 25,0% with values above 130/90 mmHg (evaluation and revaluation); 13,0% and 11,5% with 140 x 100 mmHg and 10,0% and 9,0% with blood pressure above 140/100 mmHg; It was verified a decrease of BMI of 23,8 to 23,4 happening also for the corporal weight in the group; The average of the relation waist-hip was also reduced of 0,78 to 0,77 (moderate risk) for the age; It was also verified that practically all skin folds measures presented important reduction after practice of physical activities, when compared (evaluation and revaluation) contributing positively to the improvement of the health, and the quality of life of the analyzed subjects, as well as for the development of their daily activities at work
