RESUMO
The main objective of this work is to introduce and study a new class of isometric immersions, called pseudo-parallel, as an intrinsic analogue of the pseudo-symmetric manifolds introduced by Ryszard Deszcz, and as a natural generalization of the semi-parallel immersions introduced by Johan Deprez. Moreover we presente several important examples of pseudo-parallel immersions that are not semi-parallel and of pseudo-symmetric immersions that are not pseudo-parallel. Besides, we showed a characterization of the pseudo-parallel hypersufaces and some results for surfaces, immersions in codimention two and also with high codimention. At last, we showe that the pseudo-parallel immersions are related with Jordan s triple systems
