RESUMO
The levan used was produced by Zymomonas mobilis, strain ZAG 12, in sucrose way was acid hydrolysis in microwaves oven, which was used as a hot source, insât of the traditional bath-maria. In the hydrolysis was used a levan solution 20g/L with 0,1M cloridric acid. The different molecular weights bands had been separate by the precipitation method. The levan solution was hydrolyses in times of: 0,5 - 5,0 minutes. After the levan acid hydrolysis in microwaves oven with power the by 650W, it had been gotten low molecular weight levan, oligosaccharide and fructose. The oligos and monosaccharide was analyzed by liquid chromatography of high efficiency (HPLC). The mobile phase was deonication water, column REZEX-RSO OLIGOSACCHARIDE (12μmx10mmx200mm) and the column BECKMAN USPHEROGEL CARBOHYDRATE(10μmx6,5mmx300mm), respectively. the results had shown variation occurrence in the antitumor reply because the different molecular weights. evidence that the fractions most active had been F â 80 and F â 70, presented greater tumoral innibition against sarcoma 180 (89%) and Erhlich carcinoma (79%). Fraction F â 90 did not present significant tumoral innibition for sarcoma 180 (39,5%). However the F â 60 presented inhibition against sarcoma 180 of 77% the fructooligosaccharide separation for different polymerization degrees and fructose monomer identity was possible through the HPLC. Three minutes of hydrolysis it showed to be the best condition, amongst the tested ones, for oligosaccharide attainment from levan
