RESUMO
This dissertation is the result of research developed at the Masters in Education, research line 2 - Training and Teaching Practice, Professional Lecturer, University of Oeste Paulista. The research aimed to examine possible contributions of recreational activities in teaching fundamentals of sports futsal (driving the ball, field, passing, kicking, marking and rules). For its development, methodological procedures were used qualitative, with application of interviews that included the participation of 25 subjects, students from the sixth year of elementary school in the morning, a private university in the city of Assis-SP. The results indicated that the accession of students with respect to the proposed activities occurred satisfactorily. The recreational activities were circumstances favorable to participation and interaction, learning technical fundamentals of soccer. Data analysis showed that the use of recreational activities in physical education classes provide teaching situations that stimulated the participation, interaction and student learning.
