Formação de professores e PCN : um olhar sobre a leitura e o material de leitura

RESUMO

This research presents a discussion about the reading of Portuguese Language Curriculum Parameters (?Parâmetros Curriculares de Língua Portuguesa ? PCN?), to the teaching of the ftrst and second cycles of the fundamental teaching, done by two teachers. The principal goal of this study is to contribute for the changing of teacher represetantion that in the last years has been, in an arbitrary way, considered to be very little competent professionally. To fulfil ours objectives we developed a empowering qualitative research, which the principal characteristic is, as suggest the name of this research tendency, the empowerment of the researched community. We developed, than, a case study of reading in two pairs in which one teacher and the research herself read and discussed the PCN. The selection of this object of reading was done by the teachers involved in, that had urgency, as they assumed, in constructing the Parameters comprehension. To analyse the data we compared the reading of concepts of language area done by the teachers with the base-text (PCN) where this concepts were defined. We took, then, as analysis object the reading and comments about text done by the teachers and the PCN text itself. Both analysis objects allowed us comparing the problems of the teacher?s reading and the textuality problems found in the document
