FORMAÇÃO CONTINUADA DE EDUCADORES DE JOVENS E ADULTOS: CAMINHO PARA A REFLEXÃO DA PRÁTICA?

RESUMO

In this current research, it was intended to investigate the process of reflection from youngsters and adults` continued formation. Such search had as investigative locus the study group for EJA`s teachers, from 1st to 4th phases related to Projeto Caminhar, formation program offered by Municipal Secretary of Educational from Juiz de Fora. The objective of this research was to analyze as this formation occurs, in perspective of six participants from the study group. Therefore, it was searched in the qualitative research the possibility to know the investigative locus in an understanding approach and explanatory of the facts, where a deeper knowledge of the reality becomes possible. The option for this methodology became possible the comprehension of the meaning of the actions and the human relations present at the study group. As methodological strategies were used the participant observation, questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. From the dialogue on among António Nóvoa, Donald Schön, José Contreras, Kenneth Zeichner, Maurice Tardif, Selma G. Pimenta, and others, who are called to take part of this reflection. Five categories were built which were taken as basis for the analysis processes construction: a) initial formation and the teaching in Eja; b) to be a teacher in Eja: a matter of option? c) Entry into the study group; d) Teaching knowledges; e) the reflection as challenge. The results indicated that the reflection within the group is revealed partially and the barriers found are connected to the difficulty of the teachers in developing their teaching knowledges, remarkably the pedagogical knowledges
