Estudo dos atributos e procedimentos operacionais básicos de um transportador rodoviário de cargas e de um operador logístico

RESUMO

This subject deals with some topics related to Cargo Land Transportation, Logistical Operators and all the management of the supply chain management. Logistics is the process of planning, efficient and economically effective flow control of raw materials, finished products and relative information since the origin point until the consumption point, with the intention of attending the requirement of the customers. This task has as the main objective to study and to research the logistical process of the Cargo Land Transportation and of the Logistical Operator selected in the states of Santa Catarina, São Paulo e Espírito Santo by criteria previously definite, analyzing the two types of organization, comparing the theory with the practice and researching the attributes and the basic operational procedures of a Cargo Land Transportation and of a Logistical Operator and if exist differences of these attributes and procedures between both the segments. The structures were classified as simple, mixed and complex. To make a diagnosis about this market an exploratory research divided in three stages was performed: a) It was the choice of the geographic area, South and Southern regions. As the criterion for the selection of the companies a survey was done with cargo loader, carriers and the recognition for the market of some of the best Organizations active in this area, so twelve companies in Santa Catarina, São Paulo and Espírito Santo were chosen because they represent a great sample of Brazilian companies branch of activities in accordance with the research; b) This stage was done with a form with dichotomous questions that made the characterization of the Organizations that represent better each category of the companies of this branch of activity, the information of this stage was analyzed through statistics using Microsoft Excel; c) This stage was issued through a specific study at three of these companies, where a questionnaire with open questions was applied. In this stage of the research we can conclude, through the interviews, that the Carriers and the Logistics Operator dont have anymore exclusive attributes and procedures, that were pointed out like one or another task some time ago. Maybe the market demand has been taking them to enlarge their fan of services
