RESUMO

A compiled list of liverworts from Alagoas State is presented here, joining information of catalogues and previous papers and the inedit survey in the Ecologic Station (EsEc) Murici (9Â11â05â - 9Â16â48âS; 35Â45â20â - 35Â55â12âW). One hundred thirteen liverworts are registered in Alagoas State, 106 of them occurring in EsEc Murici. Seventy nine are new occurrences to Alagoas, being eight of them new occurrences to Northeastern region of Brazil too. Data is provided here about geographic distribution in Brazil and world and, additionally, ecologic and taxonomic comments for the new occurrences to Northeastern
