RESUMO

The work purposed in this Dissertation aims to approach pedagogical and methodological processes of contemporary dance. It also aims to establish connections between the educational and aesthetic knowledge, in a way that understands the dance Knowledge as an interdisciplinary founded language. Games for Dance is an investigation of the corporal improvisation potentialities in dance as a transmitter of knowledge, such as: aesthetic, linguistic, biomechanical, locomotive, physics and personal. The research was developed using two groups of adult collaborators participants that experienced different approaches of corporal games, and it allowed the application of the methodology in dance in two different contexts.
