RESUMO

There seems to be a growing consensus that the most prompt, efficient and powerful way of managing knowledge resources is through best practices systematic sharing, which are those activities that produced positive results in a context, and that could be adapted to another. Since best practices databases seem to promote Organizational Learning and support the implementation of Organizational Memory, this research aimed to identify recommendations for a framework for this database, considering the benefits of its utilization in Tribunal Regional Federal da Primeira Região. Knowing that best practices support the implementation of Organizational Memory, Organizational Learning and Knowledge Management, several approaches related to these issues were reviewed in literature. This study is classified as applied, quantitative and descriptive research. Questionnaires were distributed to Tribunal Regional Federal da Primeira Região Judges in order to identify knowledge information workflow, organizational internal environment and facilitator. Recommendations were presented for the development of a best practices database, as well as its importance at the organization studied. The findings show that this research brings contribution to future studies on the implementation of best practices database in similar organizations, supporting to reduce the time spent in some processes, to incorporate knowledge, to turn individual learning in organizational learning, and reduce costs.
