RESUMO

In this work I intend to discuss the interactions between technological advances and the conception of architectural objects from Industrial to Digital Revolution. Industrial Technologies: Mechanic industrial revolution was the motricity force to the social and spatial transformations of the cities, sinoe the use and development of new materials; still the consideration of new vehicules, like cars and airplanes, to the space aprehension. Tele-Technologies: Mass media amplified our temporal and spatial conception of the world. We would live in a Global Village, where some architects thought architectural objects as components of a global system, working by changing informations with other ones. Digital Technologies Virtual Architecture is the architecture that become an interface mediated by intelligent machines between user and environments. I propose a discussion of contemporary projects in this new world, based on these three aspects: Translation of video images immateriality to the architectural materiality. Incorporation of electronic technologi.esthinking architecture as an interactive medium, always bringing the user as a vector to its realization, recreating constant/y our environment. And how virtual and digital environments could bring us the possibility to explorate sensations, logics, compositions and freedoms that are beyond the ancient architecture materiality: exponenciated freedom
